I made this note card to send to hubby in the desert. All of his co-workers are jealous of his new RH card proudly displayed on his desk.
For those of you that aren't familiar with RED HORSE it means Rapid Engineer Deployable Heavy Operational Repair Squadron Engineers. That's just a mouthful so we always say RED HORSE. I like to explain that they are basically the military's version of Extreme Home Make Over on steroids. Of course they aren't building fancy expensive homes but instead they are building expensive runways and buildings for the military. You can learn more about the RED HORSE squadron here.

How much is that doggy in the window?
A cute card I made with an even cuter puppy on the outside. It opens to reveal a red card on the inside with a black textured stripe. I love making textured paper. It really makes the cards pop!
I can make invitations and cards for any occasion. Please let me know if you have any requests and I can give them a whirl.

More Cards!
Cute little card I made for my friend having a baby. I love the textured paper I made with the circles.
This is a small baby card that I made that's meant to attach to a gift. It flips open to the side to reveal more baby pattern and a spot to write a small note to the new mother.
A fun thank you card that I made with textured paper and stamps. So fun!

Diaper Wreath
You've probably heard of a diaper cake before but have you heard of a diaper wreath? They are simple to create and make a unique baby gift! Here is a picture of the diaper wreath I made for my friend Stephanie for her baby shower.
I bought a wire wreath frame at Michael's for $2.00. I wrapped the diapers around the wire frame and tied each one with a clear elastic band. Then you just tie on any gifts or decorations you want to give to the new mom and baby. So easy and unique!

Caution: Contents not Edible
-Fat Free
-Calorie Free
-No Trans Fats
-High in Fiber
If only I could find an edible cake with the same nutritional value! I made this diaper cake for a baby shower for a very close friend here in Las Vegas. The three layers of diapers are held together by a plastic dowel in the middle. I have no idea how many diapers I used but I'd guess around 50.
Diaper cakes make great accents for a shower or even just as a gift. It made a wonderful centerpiece today at the shower and was fun to make! The expectant mama doesn't know the sex of her baby so I tried to keep it as gender neutral as possible but still make it cute. She decorated her nursery in chocolate brown and sage green. This is the closest thing that I could find to match. What can I say, I have funky taste.

Rock, Paper, Scissors
A close friend got engaged over the weekend so it inspired me to make more cards! This card can be used for either an engagement or a wedding. It can even be used for a wedding shower! It is super cute with words like tuxedo, wedding, engagement, bride, groom, and honeymoon cut out of black paper and placed on top of pink card stock. Grey rhinestones sporadically placed give it an extra sparkle!
I also made some cute cards to send to Nick. I don't want him feeling neglected in the desert!

Owie, I got a paper cut!
It's Friday night and the moon is bright. Gonna have some fun, tell you how it's done, TGIF. Anyone remember that jingle from growing up? I used to get so excited to watch Family Matters on Friday nights because of Steve Urkel. I know I wasn't the only one that would pull my pants up to my armpits, snort, and say DID I DO THAT in the most annoying voice possible. I miss waking up to a nice bowl of Urkel-O's and milk. What ever happened to that guy? I can't find his cereal in the grocery store anymore.
Anyway, back to the point. You are probably wondering why I am reliving television shows of my childhood. Well, here it is Friday night and I'm just being wild and out of control here in Sin City. Instead of partying on the strip and getting attacked by Mike Tyson's tiger, I'm papercrafting. I think behavior this out of control should be illegal.
Please let me know if you would like me to make you birthday cards, invitations or thank you cards. I'd be happy to! I'll make cards for any occasion.

Oh Baby!
I spent the last few days making these baby shower invitations with a friend here in Las Vegas who is very creative. We had a great time making them for another spouse who is expecting her first child. These are the invitations that I made. I'm very proud of them and wanted to share.
They actually flip open to reveal the information for the upcoming shower. Each invitation is hand made and unique. I will have to wait until after the baby shower to post pictures of our other creations.
